SLM metal 3D printing

Metal 3D printing using the SLM process (selective laser melting) is one of the most sophisticated additive manufacturing processes. To ensure that components meet the high requirements, it is crucial to set the right course as early as the design phase. Only in this way can geometries, material properties and post-processing be optimally coordinated. HDC Blueprints has the necessary expertise to support customers from the design stage through to the finished product and thus deliver components that reliably pass the practical test.

Your challenge is our passion

This is just a placeholder text. Don't be alarmed, it's just there to make space as your final text is not ready yet. Once we have finalized your content, we will replace this placeholder text with your real content.

Sometimes it's good to enter text to get an idea of how the text will fill a space on your website.

Our industry traditionally uses Lorem Ipsum, a placeholder text written in Latin. Unfortunately, not everyone is familiar with Lorem Ipsum, and this can lead to confusion. I can't tell you how many times clients have asked me why their website is in a different language!

Advantages of our metal 3D printing service

Our service not only provides you with individual components, but also solutions that are tailored to your specific requirements. We have access to a wide range of alloys, as we work with various suppliers and can therefore also offer the right choice of material for special requirements. We also undertake the necessary post-processing such as milling, turning, drilling or surface finishing. Painting to special specifications, for example in accordance with the technical delivery conditions of the German Armed Forces, is also possible.

Complete solutions instead of individual deliveries

A common pain point in procurement is that many suppliers only make small contributions to the finished component or assembly. Coordinating these parts means that components have to pass through many different hands, which can affect time and quality. HDC Blueprints takes this effort off your hands. We combine our own design and manufacturing capabilities with a strong, local partner network and deliver complete assemblies on request. This includes 3D printed parts as well as CNC milled parts, sheet metal parts or standard parts. These are reworked, assembled, tested and painted by us on request. This means you receive a ready-to-use solution from a single source. We pay particular attention to production within Germany.

Can I still make changes during the design process?

Answer

Yes, changes can be made throughout the design process. We use an iterative development approach right from the start, allowing you to provide regular feedback. This ensures that your wishes and requirements are taken into account at every stage of the project and that the end result meets your expectations.

How long does it take to construct a project?

Answer

The duration depends on the complexity and scope. A simple component can be created within a few minutes or hours, while larger and more complex designs can take several weeks or even months. After an initial analysis and definition of the requirements, we will let you know the estimated time frame - free of charge.

Which CAD software do you use for the design?

Answer

We work with modern CAD programs that enable us to create high-precision constructions and designs. We generally rely on the Autodesk product range. For special requirements or customer-specific requests, we use alternative software solutions if necessary.
